Dr Miller is a cisgender woman of colour. She is an adult generalist Psychiatrist (treating patients between 18 and 65) who specialises in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, the mental health of young adults (aged 18-25), alcohol and drug treatment, couples counselling, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Additionally, Dr Miller has significant experience in Medicolegal Report Writing.

She attained her medical degree from the University of Western Australia and completed her specialist training in Psychiatry at St Vincent’s Public Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital, Bloomfield Hospital and with Justice Health, based at Long Bay Gaol. She has undertaken further training in drug and alcohol treatment at the Betty Ford Center in California under their Professionals in Residence Programme. Dr Miller has attained Opioid Treatment Accreditation from the University of Sydney. She is also currently undertaking a Master of Medicine (Trauma-Informed Psychotherapy).

Dr Miller was the recipient of the New South Wales Institute of Psychiatry Special Training Fellowship 2008, recipient of the RANZCP Young Investigator of the Year Award 2008 and the recipient of the New South Wales Institute of Psychiatry Research Fellowship 2009. These awards related to her research conducted at the Garvan Institute exploring the impact of drugs and alcohol on psychosis in the presence of a defect in the neuregulin-1gene. Dr. Miller was formerly an expert panel member for the NSW Nursing and Midwifery Board and additionally holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Banking and Finance) from the University of New South Wales.

Consulting hours

Dr Miller’s consulting hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (inclusive) 7:00am to 5:30pm.

Thursday 10:30am to 6:30pm

Dr. Miller currently holds the position of Head of the Department of Psychiatry at St Vincent's Private Hospital Darlinghurst and St Vincent's Clinic Darlinghurst as well as the position of Adjunct Clinical Senior Lecturer in the School of Medicine at the Notre Dame University and is a member of the following professional bodies:
